This class requires a $100 material fee be paid on the first day of class.
This 3 night class series will walk students through fundamental blacksmithing techniques. This class covers hammering techniques, safety, and skills such as tapers, scrolls, spreading, bending, hot chiseling, and hole punching.
Small take-home projects will be offered as opportunities to practice techniques. Students typically leaving having made a BBQ fork, Spoon, and Wall Hook.
All safety gear is provided. No experience required. Students must be 18+ years old.
