As many of you know (because there was an oddly familiar looking tangle of metal in the background of the shop all spring!), I've been working on a project with local glass artist Sarah Hinds. We recently installed the sculpture and are over the moon with the results of all our effort!
Unbridled can be seen in person at the Alachua County Equestrian Center on Newberry Road, right before the town of Newberry. I suggest you go take a peak in person, if you are able. The materials are Cor-ten steel and highly custom, super thick cast glass with wonderfully touchable texture.
I appreciate all the words of encouragement from students who happened to see the progress during their visit to the studio. This project was a ton of fun and I thoroughly enjoyed my time working with Sarah. She's a gifted collaborator and talented artist.
